Annie gets a goat

My goat Millie. She now has an old water tank for a shelter and several layers of carpet to sleep on. She makes sweet little bleats and is supposed to eat all the blackberries. Which she surely will after finishing all the bread and lettuce I have given her.

  3. Cute! And a nice name too. My only memory of a goat was one that lived in Woods Point called Sadie and belonged to the Policeman's family. I think I've still got a photo of her somewhere.

  4. I demand a Youtube of you milking the goat. Lord I could use the laugh.

  5. Thank you from us both for your comments dear Fen, Andrew, El Chi and Anne from Cat Politics. Jah Teh darling, no bad billy goat will get near my little nanny and therefore no kid will be produced.

oh you'll love this: last night after we came inside from cocktail time on the terrace we were stonkered to see out the kitchen window a snake slither right under the table we had just left, and into the wood stack. I recognised it as the 4-footer whose previous appearance near the water tank was such a surprise. No mice in my kitchen with Snakey living under the house. x x

  7. I was recently mumbling to myself that I wish I had a goat. There's plenty of grass here to eat but I don't think they're allowed in suburban areas.
